Our Development Process

The Business Development Group is the first point of contact for any company, university, institution or entrepreneur.

Once contact has been established all new opportunities undergo a three-step process.

• Step 1: As a first step the company submits a non-confidential summary that outlines the product or technology being offered. This information is reviewed by our Business Development Screening Committee which includes our leading scientists, marketing and business development executives. The team meets every month.
• Step 2: If the project receives a positive assessment from the screening committee, a Confidential Disclosure Agreement (CDA) will be agreed and signed by both parties. Once in place a more rigorous assessment of the opportunity can take place including a technical evaluation and market modeling.
• Step 3: If the view is still very positive we carry out a more complete due diligence process with further analysis and negotiation with the future partner and a final review by our Leadership Team and Board.
